विश्वे देवा:

शं न॑ इन्द्रा॒ग्नी भ॑वता॒मवो॑भिः॒ शं न॒ इन्द्रा॒वरु॑णा रा॒तह॑व्या ।शमिन्द्रा॒सोमा॑ सुवि॒ताय॒ शं योः शं न॒ इन्द्रा॑पू॒षणा॒ वाज॑सातौ

इन्द्र और अग्नि अपनी सहायताओं से हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों; जिन्हें हव्य अर्पित किया गया है, वे इन्द्र और वरुण हमारे लिए शान्तिकर हों। इन्द्र और सोम हमारे सुखमय जीवन के लिए कल्याण और निरोगता दें, और धन-अन्न की प्राप्ति में इन्द्र तथा पूषा हमारे लिए मंगलकारी हों।

May Indra and Agni bring us good fortune with their help, and Indra and Varuna, to whom the offerings are given. May Indra and Soma bring good fortune for our welfare, luck and health; may Indra and Pushan bring us good fortune when the prize is being won.

शं नो॒ भगः॒ शमु॑ नः॒ शंसो॑ अस्तु॒ शं नः॒ पुरं॑धिः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु॒ रायः॑ ।शं नः॑ स॒त्यस्य॑ सु॒यम॑स्य॒ शंसः॒ शं नो॑ अर्य॒मा पु॑रुजा॒तो अ॑स्तु

भग हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो, हमारी स्तुति-वाणी मंगलकारी हो; पुरंधि (समृद्धि) शुभ हो और धन-सम्पत्तियाँ शुभ हों। सत्य की और सुनियंत्रित व्यवस्था की प्रशंसा हमारे लिए शुभ हो, तथा बहुतों में प्रकट होने वाला अर्यमा हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो।

May Bhaga bring us good fortune, and may Praise bring us good fortune; may Puramdhi bring good fortune, and may our riches be lucky. May the word of truth, firmly held, bring us good fortune; may Aryaman, born in many forms, bring us good fortune.

शं नो॑ धा॒ता शमु॑ ध॒र्ता नो॑ अस्तु॒ शं न॑ उरू॒ची भ॑वतु स्व॒धाभिः॑ ।शं रोद॑सी बृह॒ती शं नो॒ अद्रिः॒ शं नो॑ दे॒वानां॑ सु॒हवा॑नि सन्तु

धाता (रचने वाला) हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो और धर्ता (धारण करने वाला) भी शुभ हो; विस्तीर्ण देवी अपनी निज शक्तियों के साथ हमारे लिए शुभ हो। विशाल द्यावा-पृथिवी शुभ हों, सोम कूटने का पत्थर शुभ हो, और देवों का सुखपूर्वक आह्वान हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो।

May Dhatar the Establisher bring us good fortune, and Dhartar the Upholder; may the wide Earth bring us good fortune by her own powers. May the two great world-halves bring good fortune, and the pressing-stone; may our calls to the gods be well received and bring us good fortune.

शं नो॑ अ॒ग्निर्ज्योति॑रनीको अस्तु॒ शं नो॑ मि॒त्रावरु॑णाव॒श्विना॒ शम् ।शं नः॑ सु॒कृतां॑ सुकृ॒तानि॑ सन्तु॒ शं न॑ इषि॒रो अ॒भि वा॑तु॒ वातः॑

जिसका मुख ज्योति है, वह अग्नि हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो; मित्र और वरुण तथा अश्विन् हमारे लिए शुभ हों। पुण्यकर्म करने वालों के सुकृत हमारे लिए शुभ हों, और वेगवान वायु हमारी ओर कल्याण लेकर बहे।

May Agni, whose face is light, bring us good fortune; may Mitra and Varuna and the Ashvins bring good fortune. May the good deeds of those who act well bring us good fortune; may the swift Wind blow good fortune toward us.

शं नो॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी पू॒र्वहू॑तौ॒ शम॒न्तरि॑क्षं दृ॒शये॑ नो अस्तु ।शं न॒ ओष॑धीर्व॒निनो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ रज॑स॒स्पति॑रस्तु जि॒ष्णुः

प्रातःकाल के पहले आह्वान में द्यावा-पृथिवी हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, और अन्तरिक्ष हमारे देखने के लिए शुभ हो। ओषधियाँ और वनस्पतियाँ हमारे लिए शुभ हों, तथा अन्तरिक्ष का विजयी स्वामी हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो।

May Heaven and Earth bring us good fortune at the first invocation; may the midspace bring good fortune to our sight. May the plants and the trees bring us good fortune; may the victorious Lord of the airy region bring us good fortune.

शं न॒ इन्द्रो॒ वसु॑भिर्दे॒वो अ॑स्तु॒ शमा॑दि॒त्येभि॒र्वरु॑णः सु॒शंसः॑ ।शं नो॑ रु॒द्रो रु॒द्रेभि॒र्जला॑षः॒ शं न॒स्त्वष्टा॒ ग्नाभि॑रि॒ह शृ॑णोतु

वसुओं के साथ देव इन्द्र हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो, आदित्यों के साथ सुन्दर स्तुति वाला वरुण शुभ हो। रुद्रों के साथ रोग शान्त करने वाला रुद्र हमारे लिए शुभ हो, और देवपत्नियों के साथ त्वष्टा यहाँ हमारी पुकार कल्याणपूर्वक सुने।

May the god Indra with the Vasus bring us good fortune, and well-praised Varuna with the Adityas. May Rudra the healer with the Rudras bring us good fortune; may Tvashtar with the wives of the gods hear us here and bring us good fortune.

शं नः॒ सोमो॑ भवतु॒ ब्रह्म॒ शं नः॒ शं नो॒ ग्रावा॑णः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु य॒ज्ञाः ।शं नः॒ स्वरू॑णां मि॒तयो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नः॑ प्र॒स्व१ः॒॑ शम्व॑स्तु॒ वेदिः॑

सोम हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो, स्तोत्र (ब्रह्म) शुभ हो; सोम कूटने के पत्थर और यज्ञ हमारे लिए मंगलकारी हों। यज्ञ-स्तम्भों की स्थापना हमारे लिए शुभ हो, अंकुरित तृण-लताएँ शुभ हों, और वेदी हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो।

May Soma bring us good fortune, and the sacred formulation; may the pressing-stones and the sacrifices bring us good fortune. May the setting-up of the sacrificial posts bring us good fortune; may the plants and the altar bring us good fortune.

शं नः॒ सूर्य॑ उरु॒चक्षा॒ उदे॑तु॒ शं न॒श्चत॑स्रः प्र॒दिशो॑ भवन्तु ।शं नः॒ पर्व॑ता ध्रु॒वयो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नः॒ सिन्ध॑वः॒ शमु॑ स॒न्त्वापः॑

विशाल दृष्टि वाला सूर्य हमारे लिए कल्याण के साथ उदित हो, चारों दिशाएँ हमारे लिए शुभ हों। अचल पर्वत हमारे लिए शुभ हों, और नदियाँ तथा जल हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों।

May the wide-seeing Sun rise with good fortune for us; may the four directions bring us good fortune. May the firm mountains bring us good fortune; may the rivers and the waters bring us good fortune.

शं नो॒ अदि॑तिर्भवतु व्र॒तेभिः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तु म॒रुतः॑ स्व॒र्काः ।शं नो॒ विष्णुः॒ शमु॑ पू॒षा नो॑ अस्तु॒ शं नो॑ भ॒वित्रं॒ शम्व॑स्तु वा॒युः

अपने व्रतों के साथ अदिति हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो, सुन्दर स्तुति वाले मरुत् हमारे लिए शुभ हों। विष्णु शुभ हों और पूषा भी, यह सम्पूर्ण भुवन हमारे लिए शुभ हो और वायु कल्याणकारी हो।

May Aditi bring us good fortune through her ordinances; may the Maruts, with their fine songs, bring us good fortune. May Vishnu and Pushan bring us good fortune; may what is coming to be bring us good fortune, and may Vayu bring us good fortune.

शं नो॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता त्राय॑माणः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तू॒षसो॑ विभा॒तीः ।शं नः॑ प॒र्जन्यो॑ भवतु प्र॒जाभ्यः॒ शं नः॒ क्षेत्र॑स्य॒ पति॑रस्तु श॒म्भुः

रक्षा करने वाला देव सविता हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो, प्रकाशमान उषाएँ हमारे लिए शुभ हों। पर्जन्य हमारी सन्तानों के लिए कल्याणकारी हो, और सुख देने वाला क्षेत्र का पति हमारे लिए शुभ हो।

May the god Savitar, our protector, bring us good fortune; may the shining Dawns bring us good fortune. May Parjanya bring good fortune to our children; may the Lord of the Field be kind and bring us good fortune.

शं नो॑ दे॒वा वि॒श्वदे॑वा भवन्तु॒ शं सर॑स्वती स॒ह धी॒भिर॑स्तु ।शम॑भि॒षाचः॒ शमु॑ राति॒षाचः॒ शं नो॑ दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वाः॒ शं नो॒ अप्याः॑

सब देव हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, स्तुतियों के साथ सरस्वती शुभ हो। साथ-साथ चलने वाले और दान के साथ आने वाले देव शुभ हों; द्युलोक के, पृथ्वी के और जल के देव हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों।

May the gods, the All-Gods, bring us good fortune; may Sarasvati, with our inspired thoughts, bring good fortune. Good fortune from those who stand by us and those who bring gifts; good fortune from the heavenly ones, the earthly ones, and those of the waters.

शं नः॑ स॒त्यस्य॒ पत॑यो भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ अर्व॑न्तः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु॒ गावः॑ ।शं न॑ ऋ॒भवः॑ सु॒कृतः॑ सु॒हस्ताः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तु पि॒तरो॒ हवे॑षु

सत्य के स्वामी हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, घोड़े शुभ हों और गौएँ शुभ हों। सुकर्मा और कुशल हाथों वाले ऋभु हमारे लिए शुभ हों, और आह्वानों में पितर हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों।

May the lords of truth bring us good fortune; may the horses and the cows bring us good fortune. May the Ribhus, skilled and deft-handed, bring us good fortune; may the Fathers bring us good fortune at our invocations.

शं नो॑ अ॒ज एक॑पाद्दे॒वो अ॑स्तु॒ शं नोऽहि॑र्बु॒ध्न्य१ः॒॑ शं स॑मु॒द्रः ।शं नो॑ अ॒पां नपा॑त्पे॒रुर॑स्तु॒ शं नः॒ पृश्नि॑र्भवतु दे॒वगो॑पा

अज एकपाद् देव हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो, अहिर्बुध्न्य और समुद्र हमारे लिए शुभ हों। जलों का पुत्र 'पेरु' हमारे लिए शुभ हो, और देवों से रक्षित पृश्नि हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हो।

May the god Aja Ekapad bring us good fortune, and Ahi Budhnya, and the sea. May Apam Napat, who carries us across, bring us good fortune; may Prishni, guarded by the gods, bring us good fortune.

आ॒दि॒त्या रु॒द्रा वस॑वो जुषन्ते॒दं ब्रह्म॑ क्रि॒यमा॑णं॒ नवी॑यः ।शृ॒ण्वन्तु॑ नो दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वासो॒ गोजा॑ता उ॒त ये य॒ज्ञिया॑सः

आदित्य, रुद्र और वसु इस नवीन रचे जा रहे स्तोत्र को प्रसन्नता से स्वीकार करें। द्युलोक के और पृथ्वी के देव, गौ से उत्पन्न देव तथा जो यज्ञ के योग्य हैं, वे हमारी पुकार सुनें।

May the Adityas, the Rudras and the Vasus enjoy this new sacred formulation now being made. May the heavenly and earthly ones hear us, those born of the cow, and those who are worthy of worship.

ये दे॒वानां॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑नां॒ मनो॒र्यज॑त्रा अ॒मृता॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः ।ते नो॑ रासन्तामुरुगा॒यम॒द्य यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः

जो देवों में, यज्ञ के योग्य देवों में भी यज्ञ के योग्य हैं, जो मनु के द्वारा पूजनीय, अमर और ऋत के ज्ञाता हैं — वे आज हमें विस्तृत, निर्बाध स्थान दें। हे देवो, तुम कल्याणों से सदा हमारी रक्षा करो।

The most worthy of worship among the gods who receive worship, the ones Manu is to worship, immortal and knowing the truth: may they grant us today wide space to move in. You gods, always protect us with blessings.
