क्रा॒णा शिशु॑र्म॒हीनां॑ हि॒न्वन्नृ॒तस्य॒ दीधि॑तिम् ।विश्वा॒ परि॑ प्रि॒या भु॑व॒दध॑ द्वि॒ता

अपना काम करता हुआ, महती (जलों) का शिशु, ऋत की दीप्ति को आगे प्रेरित करता है; और वह दोहरे रूप से सब प्रिय वस्तुओं को घेर लेता है।

Active, the child of the great ones, urging on the inspired thought of truth, has encompassed all things dear, and then in two ways.

उप॑ त्रि॒तस्य॑ पा॒ष्यो॒३॒॑रभ॑क्त॒ यद्गुहा॑ प॒दम् ।य॒ज्ञस्य॑ स॒प्त धाम॑भि॒रध॑ प्रि॒यम्

त्रित के दोनों (पेषण-फलकों) के पास उसने उस गुप्त स्थान को पा लिया, और सात धामों के साथ यज्ञ के प्रिय स्थान को भी।

Since he has gained a share in the hidden track of Trita at the two pressing stones, so too, by the seven domains of the sacrifice, he gains what is dear.

त्रीणि॑ त्रि॒तस्य॒ धार॑या पृ॒ष्ठेष्वेर॑या र॒यिम् ।मिमी॑ते अस्य॒ योज॑ना॒ वि सु॒क्रतुः॑

त्रित के तीन (स्थानों) पर अपनी धारा से — (हे सोम,) पीठों पर धन भेज; यह सुक्रतु अपने मार्गों की दूरियाँ नाप लेता है।

With the stream of Trita, send wealth onto the three ridges. The very skillful one measures out his courses.

ज॒ज्ञा॒नं स॒प्त मा॒तरो॑ वे॒धाम॑शासत श्रि॒ये ।अ॒यं ध्रु॒वो र॑यी॒णां चिके॑त॒ यत्

जन्म लेते ही सात माताओं ने इस विधाता को शोभा के लिए दिशा दी; यह धनों का स्थिर (आधार) है, क्योंकि यह प्रकट हो गया।

The seven mothers instructed the newborn ordainer for his glory, so that this one, the firm holder of riches, has become known.

अ॒स्य व्र॒ते स॒जोष॑सो॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वासो॑ अ॒द्रुहः॑ ।स्पा॒र्हा भ॑वन्ति॒ रन्त॑यो जु॒षन्त॒ यत्

इसके व्रत में सभी निष्कपट देव एक साथ प्रसन्न रहते हैं; जब वे उसका सेवन करते हैं, तब आनन्द स्पृहणीय हो जाते हैं।

Under his commandment all the gods, who do not deceive, are in accord. Delights become desirable when they take pleasure in them.

यमी॒ गर्भ॑मृता॒वृधो॑ दृ॒शे चारु॒मजी॑जनन् ।क॒विं मंहि॑ष्ठमध्व॒रे पु॑रु॒स्पृह॑म्

ऋत को बढ़ाने वालों ने जिस गर्भ को देखने में सुन्दर रूप में उत्पन्न किया — उस कवि को, यज्ञ में सबसे अधिक दानी और बहुतों के चाहे हुए को।

The twins, who strengthen truth, have given birth to the lovely embryo so that it can be seen: the poet, most generous at the rite, desired by many.

स॒मी॒ची॒ने अ॒भि त्मना॑ य॒ह्वी ऋ॒तस्य॑ मा॒तरा॑ ।त॒न्वा॒ना य॒ज्ञमा॑नु॒षग्यद॑ञ्ज॒ते

ऋत की दोनों युवती माताएँ, स्वयं ही परस्पर मिली हुई, क्रम से यज्ञ को फैलाती हुई जब उसे अभिषिक्त करती हैं।

The two youthful mothers of truth, turned toward each other, come to him of their own accord, extending the sacrifice in due order when they anoint him.

क्रत्वा॑ शु॒क्रेभि॑र॒क्षभि॑रृ॒णोरप॑ व्र॒जं दि॒वः ।हि॒न्वन्नृ॒तस्य॒ दीधि॑तिं॒ प्राध्व॒रे

(हे सोम,) तू ने क्रतु से और उज्ज्वल नेत्रों से स्वर्ग का गोष्ठ खोल दिया; यज्ञ में ऋत की दीप्ति को आगे प्रेरित करते हुए।

With your resolve and your bright eyes you opened up the cattle pen of heaven, urging forward the inspired thought of truth at the rite.
