पवमान: सोम:

आ नः॑ पवस्व॒ धार॑या॒ पव॑मान र॒यिं पृ॒थुम् ।यया॒ ज्योति॑र्वि॒दासि॑ नः

हे पवमान सोम, अपनी धारा से हमारे लिए विपुल धन बहाओ — वह धन, जिससे तुम हमारे लिए ज्योति प्राप्त कर दो।

Purify yourself in a stream toward us, Pavamana, bringing broad wealth, through which you will find light for us.

इन्दो॑ समुद्रमीङ्खय॒ पव॑स्व विश्वमेजय ।रा॒यो ध॒र्ता न॒ ओज॑सा

हे इन्दु, समुद्र को हिलाने वाले, बहो; हे सबको गति देने वाले, अपने ओज से हमारे लिए धन के धारण करने वाले बनो।

O drop, set the sea surging; purify yourself, setting everything in motion. With your might, be the one who holds wealth for us.

त्वया॑ वी॒रेण॑ वीरवोऽ॒भि ष्या॑म पृतन्य॒तः ।क्षरा॑ णो अ॒भि वार्य॑म्

हे वीरों से समृद्ध सोम, तुम जैसे वीर के साथ हम आक्रमण करने वालों पर विजय पाएँ; हमारी ओर वरणीय सम्पत्ति बहाओ।

With you as our hero, you who are rich in heroes, may we overcome those who seek battle. Flow toward us what is worth choosing.

प्र वाज॒मिन्दु॑रिष्यति॒ सिषा॑सन्वाज॒सा ऋषिः॑ ।व्र॒ता वि॑दा॒न आयु॑धा

इन्दु बल को आगे प्रेरित करता है — जीतने की इच्छा रखने वाला, बल जिताने वाला, ऋषि, व्रतों और आयुधों को जानने वाला।

The drop rushes toward the prize, eager to win it, a seer who wins prizes, knowing the commandments and the weapons.

तं गी॒र्भिर्वा॑चमीङ्ख॒यं पु॑ना॒नं वा॑सयामसि ।सोमं॒ जन॑स्य॒ गोप॑तिम्

उस वाणी को प्रेरित करने वाले, शुद्ध होते हुए सोम को — जो लोगों का गोपति है — हम अपनी स्तुतियों से आवृत करते हैं।

With hymns we clothe him who stirs up speech as he is purified: Soma, the herdsman of the people.

विश्वो॒ यस्य॑ व्र॒ते जनो॑ दा॒धार॒ धर्म॑ण॒स्पतेः॑ ।पु॒ना॒नस्य॑ प्र॒भूव॑सोः

जिस धर्म के स्वामी के व्रत में सारी प्रजा टिकी हुई है — उस शुद्ध होते हुए, प्रचुर धन वाले सोम के (व्रत में)।

Under his commandment every people has held firm: under the commandment of the lord of the foundation, who is being purified and is rich in goods.
