विश्वे देवा:

ऊ॒र्ध्वो अ॒ग्निः सु॑म॒तिं वस्वो॑ अश्रेत्प्रती॒ची जू॒र्णिर्दे॒वता॑तिमेति ।भे॒जाते॒ अद्री॑ र॒थ्ये॑व॒ पन्था॑मृ॒तं होता॑ न इषि॒तो य॑जाति

ऊपर उठा हुआ अग्नि धन की शुभ कृपा तक पहुँच गया है; उसकी ज्वाला सामने की ओर मुड़कर देवों की सेवा में जाती है। दोनों सोम-पत्थर रथ के घोड़ों की तरह अपना मार्ग ले चुके हैं — प्रेरित किया गया हमारा होता ऋत के अनुसार यज्ञ करे।

Agni has risen upright and taken hold of the goodwill of the good; the eager one, facing us, goes to the gods' assembly. The two pressing stones have taken to the path like a pair of chariot horses; let our hotar, once impelled, perform the sacrifice by the truth (ṛta).

प्र वा॑वृजे सुप्र॒या ब॒र्हिरे॑षा॒मा वि॒श्पती॑व॒ बीरि॑ट इयाते ।वि॒शाम॒क्तोरु॒षसः॑ पू॒र्वहू॑तौ वा॒युः पू॒षा स्व॒स्तये॑ नि॒युत्वा॑न्

इनके लिए सुख से बिछा हुआ बर्हिस् फैला दिया गया है; दोनों प्रजापालकों की तरह वे विस्तृत स्थान में आते हैं। प्रजाओं की रात और उषा के समय, पहले बुलावे पर, नियुत् घोड़ों वाले वायु और पूषा कल्याण के लिए आएँ।

The ritual grass (barhis) of these worshippers, rich in offerings, has been strewn. Like two lords of clans, the two come into the gathering: Vayu with his team of horses, and Pushan. They come for our well-being at the clans' first invocation, at night and at dawn.

ज्म॒या अत्र॒ वस॑वो रन्त दे॒वा उ॒राव॒न्तरि॑क्षे मर्जयन्त शु॒भ्राः ।अ॒र्वाक्प॒थ उ॑रुज्रयः कृणुध्वं॒ श्रोता॑ दू॒तस्य॑ ज॒ग्मुषो॑ नो अ॒स्य

यहाँ भूमि पर वसु देव प्रसन्न हुए; विस्तृत अन्तरिक्ष में उन उज्ज्वल देवों ने अपने को सँवारा। हे दूर तक फैलने वाले देवो, अपने मार्ग इस ओर कर लो, और हमारे इस आए हुए दूत (अग्नि) की बात सुनो।

The earthly gods, the Vasus, have taken delight here; the bright ones have groomed themselves in the wide midspace. You of wide course, turn your paths toward us; listen to this messenger of ours who has gone to you.

ते हि य॒ज्ञेषु॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑स॒ ऊमाः॑ स॒धस्थं॒ विश्वे॑ अ॒भि सन्ति॑ दे॒वाः ।ताँ अ॑ध्व॒र उ॑श॒तो य॑क्ष्यग्ने श्रु॒ष्टी भगं॒ नास॑त्या॒ पुरं॑धिम्

वे यज्ञों में पूजे जाने योग्य सहायक देव, सब मिलकर एक ही आसन पर बैठते हैं। हे अग्नि, यज्ञ में उन इच्छुक देवों की पूजा कर, और शीघ्रता से भग, नासत्यों (अश्विनों) तथा पुरंधि की भी।

For they are worthy of worship at sacrifices, our helpers; all the gods are present at the shared seat. Agni, at the rite, promptly offer sacrifice to those eager gods: Bhaga, the Nasatyas, and Puramdhi.

आग्ने॒ गिरो॑ दि॒व आ पृ॑थि॒व्या मि॒त्रं व॑ह॒ वरु॑ण॒मिन्द्र॑म॒ग्निम् ।आर्य॒मण॒मदि॑तिं॒ विष्णु॑मेषां॒ सर॑स्वती म॒रुतो॑ मादयन्ताम्

हे अग्नि, हमारी स्तुतियों के साथ आकाश और पृथ्वी से मित्र, वरुण, इन्द्र, अग्नि, अर्यमन्, अदिति और विष्णु को यहाँ ले आ। इनमें सरस्वती और मरुत् भी हमारे हवि से प्रसन्न हों।

Agni, bring to our hymns, from heaven and from earth, Mitra, Varuna, Indra, Agni, Aryaman, Aditi and Vishnu. Let Sarasvati and the Maruts take delight in these.

र॒रे ह॒व्यं म॒तिभि॑र्य॒ज्ञिया॑नां॒ नक्ष॒त्कामं॒ मर्त्या॑ना॒मसि॑न्वन् ।धाता॑ र॒यिम॑विद॒स्यं स॑दा॒सां स॑क्षी॒महि॒ युज्ये॑भि॒र्नु दे॒वैः

मैंने स्तुतियों के साथ उन पूजनीय देवों को हवि अर्पित की है; वह देव किसी को हानि न पहुँचाते हुए मनुष्यों की कामना पूरी करे। धाता ऐसा धन दे जो कभी न चुके और सदा जीतता रहे; हम अपने सहयोगी देवों के संग बने रहें।

The offering has been given, with prayers, to the gods worthy of worship; may he, never failing, reach the desire of mortals. Grant us wealth that does not run out, with shares always to be won; may we now be joined with the gods as our allies.

नू रोद॑सी अ॒भिष्टु॑ते॒ वसि॑ष्ठैरृ॒तावा॑नो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॒ग्निः ।यच्छ॑न्तु च॒न्द्रा उ॑प॒मं नो॑ अ॒र्कं यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः

अब वसिष्ठों ने आकाश और पृथ्वी की स्तुति कर ली है; ऋत के पालक वरुण, मित्र और अग्नि — ये चमकते देव हमारी स्तुति को सर्वोच्च स्थान दें। तुम सब अपने कल्याणों से हमारी सदा रक्षा करो।

Now heaven and earth have been praised by the Vasishthas, along with Varuna, Mitra and Agni, who keep the truth. May the brilliant ones raise our hymn to the highest; protect us always with your blessings.
