विश्वे देवा:

ओ श्रु॒ष्टिर्वि॑द॒थ्या॒३॒॑ समे॑तु॒ प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ दधीमहि तु॒राणा॑म् ।यद॒द्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता सु॒वाति॒ स्यामा॑स्य र॒त्निनो॑ विभा॒गे

यज्ञसभा के योग्य अनुकूल श्रुति (सुनने की तत्परता) हमारे पास आए; हम त्वरित देवों के लिए स्तोत्र प्रस्तुत करते हैं। आज देव सविता जो कुछ प्रेरित करें, उस रत्नवान् के बाँटने में हमें भी भाग मिले।

May the attentive hearing that belongs to the ritual assembly come to us. We offer a hymn of praise to the mighty gods. When god Savitar sends out his gifts today, may we have a share when this treasure-holder hands them out.

मि॒त्रस्तन्नो॒ वरु॑णो॒ रोद॑सी च॒ द्युभ॑क्त॒मिन्द्रो॑ अर्य॒मा द॑दातु ।दिदे॑ष्टु दे॒व्यदि॑ती॒ रेक्णो॑ वा॒युश्च॒ यन्नि॑यु॒वैते॒ भग॑श्च

मित्र, वरुण, दोनों लोक (रोदसी), इन्द्र और अर्यमा हमें वह दें जो स्वर्ग से बाँटा गया है। देवी अदिति हमें सम्पत्ति दिखाए — वह सम्पत्ति जिसे वायु और भग दोनों मिलकर नियुक्त करते हैं।

May Mitra, Varuna and the two world-halves, Indra and Aryaman, give us the portion that heaven has allotted. May goddess Aditi assign us the inheritance that Vayu and Bhaga will appoint for us.

सेदु॒ग्रो अ॑स्तु मरुतः॒ स शु॒ष्मी यं मर्त्यं॑ पृषदश्वा॒ अवा॑थ ।उ॒तेम॒ग्निः सर॑स्वती जु॒नन्ति॒ न तस्य॑ रा॒यः प॑र्ये॒तास्ति॑

हे मरुतों, वही मनुष्य उग्र और बलवान् हो जिसकी तुम, चितकबरे घोड़ोंवाले, रक्षा करते हो। और जिसे अग्नि तथा सरस्वती आगे बढ़ाते हैं, उसके धन को कोई लाँघ नहीं सकता।

Maruts with your dappled horses, the mortal you help becomes formidable and strong. Agni and Sarasvati drive him on too, and no one can get the better of his wealth.

अ॒यं हि ने॒ता वरु॑ण ऋ॒तस्य॑ मि॒त्रो राजा॑नो अर्य॒मापो॒ धुः ।सु॒हवा॑ दे॒व्यदि॑तिरन॒र्वा ते नो॒ अंहो॒ अति॑ पर्ष॒न्नरि॑ष्टान्

यही तो ऋत का नेता है — वरुण, मित्र, वे राजा, और अर्यमा — इन्होंने हमारा कर्म स्थापित किया। सुखपूर्वक बुलाई जानेवाली, अप्रतिहत देवी अदिति — वे सब हमें संकट के पार, बिना हानि पहुँचे, ले जाएँ।

For this Varuna is the guide of truth (rta), and the kings Mitra and Aryaman have set our work in place. Goddess Aditi is easy to call on and cannot be attacked. May they carry us safely past distress, unharmed.

अ॒स्य दे॒वस्य॑ मी॒ळ्हुषो॑ व॒या विष्णो॑रे॒षस्य॑ प्रभृ॒थे ह॒विर्भिः॑ ।वि॒दे हि रु॒द्रो रु॒द्रियं॑ महि॒त्वं या॑सि॒ष्टं व॒र्तिर॑श्विना॒विरा॑वत्

इस दानशील देव विष्णु की — वेगवान् विष्णु की — शाखाएँ (अंश) हम हवियों के साथ हवि-अर्पण में हैं। रुद्र अपनी रुद्र-सम्बन्धी महिमा को जानता है। हे अश्विनों, अन्न-जल से भरा अपना चक्कर लगाते हुए आओ।

The other gods, offshoots of this generous god Vishnu who is on the move, are present at the offering with oblations. For Rudra has won Rudra's own greatness. Ashvins, drive to our home, which is rich in refreshment.

मात्र॑ पूषन्नाघृण इरस्यो॒ वरू॑त्री॒ यद्रा॑ति॒षाच॑श्च॒ रास॑न् ।म॒यो॒भुवो॑ नो॒ अर्व॑न्तो॒ नि पा॑न्तु वृ॒ष्टिं परि॑ज्मा॒ वातो॑ ददातु

हे दीप्तिमान् पूषन्, यहाँ रुष्ट न हो, जब रक्षक देवी वरूत्री और दान देनेवाले देव दें। सुख पहुँचानेवाले वेगवान् घोड़े हमारी रक्षा करें, और चारों ओर घूमनेवाला वात वृष्टि दे।

Glowing Pushan, do not hold back here what the protecting goddesses and the companions of giving will grant. May the swift horses that bring comfort protect us, and may the wind that travels everywhere give us rain.

नू रोद॑सी अ॒भिष्टु॑ते॒ वसि॑ष्ठैरृ॒तावा॑नो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॒ग्निः ।यच्छ॑न्तु च॒न्द्रा उ॑प॒मं नो॑ अ॒र्कं यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः

अब वसिष्ठों ने दोनों लोकों की स्तुति की है, और ऋतधारी वरुण, मित्र तथा अग्नि की। वे दीप्तिमान् देव हमारे स्तोत्र को सर्वोच्च (फल) दें। तुम सब कल्याणकारी रक्षाओं से हमें सदा बचाओ।

Now the Vasishthas have praised heaven and earth, and Varuna, Mitra and Agni, who hold to truth. May the bright ones give our hymn the highest place. Protect us always with blessings.
