शतवार मणि की स्तुतिThe Shatavara amulet against demons

शतवारो अनीनशद् यक्ष्मान् रक्षांसि तेजसा ।आरोहन् वर्चसा सह मणिर् दुर्णामचातनः

शतवार ने अपने तेज से यक्ष्मों और राक्षसों का नाश कर दिया है। दुर्णामों को भगाने वाली यह मणि वर्चस् के साथ ऊपर चढ़ रही है।

The Shatavara has destroyed the yakshmas and the demons with its fiery power. The amulet that drives off the ill-named ones rises with its splendour.

श्ŕ̥ङ्गाभ्यां रक्षो नुदते मूलेन यातुधान्यः᳙ ।मध्येन यक्ष्मं बाधते नैनं पाप्माति तत्रति

यह अपने दो सींगों से राक्षस को धकेलती है, जड़ से यातुधानियों को, और बीच के भाग से यक्ष्म को रोकती है। पाप इसे (इसके धारक को) पार नहीं कर पाता।

With its two horns it thrusts back the demon, with its root the sorceresses, and with its middle it holds off yakshma. No evil gets past him (its wearer).

ये यक्ष्मासो अर्भका महान्तो ये च शब्दिनः ।सर्वां दुर्णामहा मणिः शतवारो अनीनशत्

जो यक्ष्म छोटे हैं, जो बड़े हैं और जो शोर करने वाले हैं, उन सबका दुर्णामों को मारने वाली शतवार मणि ने नाश कर दिया है।

The yakshmas that are small, those that are great, and those that make noise: all of them the Shatavara amulet, slayer of the ill-named, has destroyed.

शतं वीरान् अजनयच् छतं यक्ष्मान् अपावपत् ।दुर्णाम्नः सर्वान् हत्वाव रक्षांसि धूनुते

इसने सौ वीर उत्पन्न किए, सौ यक्ष्मों को दूर बिखेर दिया। सब दुर्णामों को मारकर यह राक्षसों को झाड़ गिराती है।

It has produced a hundred heroes and scattered away a hundred yakshmas. Having killed all the ill-named ones, it shakes the demons down.

हिरण्यशृङ्ग ऋषभः शातवारो अयं मणिः ।दुर्णाम्नः सर्वांस् तृध्वाव रक्षांस्य् अक्रमीत्

यह शतवार मणि सोने के सींगों वाला वृषभ है। इसने सब दुर्णामों को कुचलकर राक्षसों को पैरों तले रौंद दिया है।

This Shatavara amulet is a bull with golden horns. Having crushed all the ill-named ones, it has trampled the demons underfoot.

शतम् अहं दुर्णाम्नीनां गन्धर्वाप्सरसां शतम् ।शतम् शश्वन्वतीनां शतवारेण वारये

मैं शतवार से सौ दुर्णामियों को, सौ गन्धर्वों और अप्सराओं को, और सौ 'शश्वन्वती' स्त्रियों को रोकता हूँ।

With the Shatavara I ward off a hundred of the ill-named females, a hundred Gandharvas and Apsarases, and a hundred of the shashvanvatis.
