पवमान: सोम:

पु॒ना॒नो अ॑क्रमीद॒भि विश्वा॒ मृधो॒ विच॑र्षणिः ।शु॒म्भन्ति॒ विप्रं॑ धी॒तिभिः॑

शुद्ध होकर, सब ओर देखने वाला (सोम) सब विरोधियों पर चढ़ गया है। लोग अपनी स्तुतियों से इस विप्र (मेधावी सोम) को सजाते हैं।

While being purified, the far-seeing one has rushed out against all who show contempt. They adorn the inspired poet with their visionary thoughts.

आ योनि॑मरु॒णो रु॑ह॒द्गम॒दिन्द्रं॒ वृषा॑ सु॒तः ।ध्रु॒वे सद॑सि सीदति

अरुण वर्ण का सोम अपने स्थान (कलश) पर चढ़ गया है; निचोड़ा हुआ यह वृषभ इन्द्र के पास जाता है। वह अपने स्थिर आसन पर बैठ जाता है।

The ruddy one has mounted his womb; the bull, once pressed, has gone to Indra. He sits down in his firm seat.

नू नो॑ र॒यिं म॒हामि॑न्दोऽ॒स्मभ्यं॑ सोम वि॒श्वतः॑ ।आ प॑वस्व सह॒स्रिण॑म्

हे इन्दु, हे सोम! अब हमारे लिए सब दिशाओं से बड़ा धन, हज़ारों गुना धन बहाते हुए ले आओ।

Now, Indu, Soma, purify yourself towards us, bringing great wealth from every side, wealth in thousands.

विश्वा॑ सोम पवमान द्यु॒म्नानी॑न्द॒वा भ॑र ।वि॒दाः स॑ह॒स्रिणी॒रिषः॑

हे पवमान सोम! हे इन्दु! सब प्रकार के तेज और वैभव हमारे लिए लाओ; तुम हज़ारों गुना अन्न-पुष्टि प्राप्त कराओ।

Soma Pavamana, Indu, bring us all splendours here. You will find refreshments in thousands.

स नः॑ पुना॒न आ भ॑र र॒यिं स्तो॒त्रे सु॒वीर्य॑म् ।ज॒रि॒तुर्व॑र्धया॒ गिरः॑

वह तू, शुद्ध होकर, हमारे लिए धन ले आ और स्तोता के लिए उत्तम वीरता दे; गाने वाले की स्तुतियों को बढ़ा।

While being purified, bring us wealth in good heroes, for the one who praises you. Strengthen the songs of the singer.

पु॒ना॒न इ॑न्द॒वा भ॑र॒ सोम॑ द्वि॒बर्ह॑सं र॒यिम् ।वृष॑न्निन्दो न उ॒क्थ्य॑म्

हे इन्दु, हे सोम! शुद्ध होकर दुगुनी दृढ़ता वाला धन हमारे लिए ले आ; हे वृषभ इन्दु! हमें प्रशंसा के योग्य (धन) दे।

While being purified, Indu, Soma, bring us doubly mighty wealth, bull Indu, wealth worthy of hymns.
