अश्विनों का आह्वानCalling the Ashvins to the rite

यन् नासत्या भुरण्यथो यद् वा देव भिषज्यथः ।अयं वां वत्सो मतिभिर् न विन्धते हविष्मन्तं हि गछथः

हे नासत्यो, चाहे तुम कहीं काम में लगे हो या, हे देवो, उपचार कर रहे हो, तुम्हारा यह वत्स अपनी स्तुतियों के कारण तुमसे वंचित नहीं रहता, क्योंकि तुम हवि देने वाले के पास जाते हो।

Nasatyas, whether you are busy elsewhere or, gods, are healing, this Vatsa of yours does not go without you, thanks to his hymns, for you come to the one who brings oblations.

आ नूनम् अश्विनोर् ŕ̥षि स्तोमं चिकेत वामया ।आ सोमं मधुमत्तमं घर्मं सिञ्चाद् अथर्वणि

अब ऋषि ने सुन्दर विचार से अश्विनों के स्तोत्र को जान लिया है। वह अत्यन्त मधुर सोम, यानी घर्म, अथर्वन् (अग्नि) में डाले।

Now the seer has grasped the Ashvins' hymn with a lovely thought. Let him pour the sweetest soma, the gharma, into the Atharvan fire.

आ नूनं रघुवर्तनिं रथं तिष्ठाथो अश्विना ।आ वां स्तोमा इमे मम नभो न चुच्यवीरत

हे अश्विनो, अब तेज़ चलने वाले रथ पर चढ़ो। मेरे ये स्तोत्र तुम्हें बादल की तरह यहाँ ले आएँ।

Ashvins, now mount your swift-running chariot. Let these hymns of mine bring you here like a cloud.

यद् अद्य वां नासत्योक्थैर् आचुच्युवीमहि ।यद् वा वाणीभिर् अश्विनेवेत् कण्वस्य बोधतम्

हे नासत्यो, हे अश्विनो, आज हम उक्थों से या वाणियों से जो तुम्हें यहाँ बुलाते हैं, उसी तरह कण्व की ओर ध्यान दो।

Nasatyas, Ashvins, as we draw you here today with our recitations or with our words, in just that way pay heed to Kanva.

यद् वां कक्षीवाꣳ उत यद् व्य᳙श्व ŕ̥षिर् यद् वां दीर्घतमा जुहाव ।प्ŕ̥थी यद् वां वैन्यः सादनेष्व् एवेद् अतो अश्विना चेतयेथाम्

हे अश्विनो, जैसे कक्षीवान् ने, जैसे ऋषि व्यश्व ने, जैसे दीर्घतमस् ने और जैसे वेन के पुत्र पृथी ने यज्ञ-स्थलों पर तुम्हें पुकारा था, वैसे ही यहाँ से हम पर ध्यान दो।
