पवमान: सोम:

परि॑ द्यु॒क्षः स॒नद्र॑यि॒र्भर॒द्वाजं॑ नो॒ अन्ध॑सा ।सु॒वा॒नो अ॑र्ष प॒वित्र॒ आ

द्युलोक में रहनेवाला, धन जीतनेवाला सोम अपने रस से हमारे लिए बल ले आए। हे सोम, कूटे जाकर पवित्र (छन्नी) में बहो।

Heavenly one, rich with wealth from long ago, bring us the prize with your juice. As you are pressed, flow around into the filter.

तव॑ प्र॒त्नेभि॒रध्व॑भि॒रव्यो॒ वारे॒ परि॑ प्रि॒यः ।स॒हस्र॑धारो या॒त्तना॑

तुम्हारे प्राचीन मार्गों से होकर प्रिय सोम भेड़ के ऊन की छन्नी में से बहता है; सहस्र धाराओंवाला वह निरन्तर चलता रहे।

Along your ancient paths, dear one, flow around through the sheep's-wool filter. You with a thousand streams, keep going on without a break.

च॒रुर्न यस्तमी॑ङ्ख॒येन्दो॒ न दान॑मीङ्खय ।व॒धैर्व॑धस्नवीङ्खय

जो चरु (पकाने के पात्र) के समान है, उसे हिलाओ; हे इन्दु, दान को भी इसी तरह हिला दो (हमारी ओर उमड़ा दो); हे आयुधधारी, अपने वधसाधनों से (शत्रुओं को) कँपा दो।

The one who is like a pot, set him swinging. Indu, set the gift swinging toward us too. You who carry deadly weapons, shake him with your weapons.

नि शुष्म॑मिन्दवेषां॒ पुरु॑हूत॒ जना॑नाम् ।यो अ॒स्माँ आ॒दिदे॑शति

हे बहुतों से बुलाए जानेवाले इन्दु, जो मनुष्य हमारे विरुद्ध ताक लगाता है, उन लोगों का बल नीचा कर दो।

Indu, you whom many people call on, bring down the strength of these people who take aim at us.

श॒तं न॑ इन्द ऊ॒तिभिः॑ स॒हस्रं॑ वा॒ शुची॑नाम् ।पव॑स्व मंह॒यद्र॑यिः

हे इन्दु, सौ रक्षाओं के साथ, या हजार शुद्ध (धनों) के साथ, धन देते हुए हमारे लिए बहो।

Indu, with a hundred, or a thousand, of your bright forms of help, purify yourself for us, and give wealth generously.
