परि॑ सुवा॒नो गि॑रि॒ष्ठाः प॒वित्रे॒ सोमो॑ अक्षाः ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

पर्वत पर उगने वाला सोम कूटकर निचोड़ा गया और छानने के पवित्र (ऊन) में चारों ओर बह चला। तू मद (हर्ष) के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।

Being pressed, Soma, who lives on the mountain, has flowed around into the filter. In your exhilarations you give everything.

त्वं विप्र॒स्त्वं क॒विर्मधु॒ प्र जा॒तमन्ध॑सः ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

तू विप्र (मेधावी) है, तू कवि है; तू अन्धस् (सोम की लता के रस) से उत्पन्न मधु है। तू मद के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।

You are inspired, you are a poet. You are the honey born from the plant. In your exhilarations you give everything.

तव॒ विश्वे॑ स॒जोष॑सो दे॒वासः॑ पी॒तिमा॑शत ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

एक साथ प्रसन्न होकर सभी देव तेरे पान को प्राप्त हुए। तू मद के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।

All the gods, sharing the same delight, have reached the drinking of you. In your exhilarations you give everything.

आ यो विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ वसू॑नि॒ हस्त॑योर्द॒धे ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

जो (सोम) सब वरणीय धनों को अपने दोनों हाथों में धारण करता है — तू मद के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।

You are the one who has taken all desirable goods into his hands. In your exhilarations you give everything.

य इ॒मे रोद॑सी म॒ही सं मा॒तरे॑व॒ दोह॑ते ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

जो इन दोनों महान लोकों (द्यावा-पृथिवी) को दो माताओं की तरह दुहता है — तू मद के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।

You are the one who milks these two great world-halves as if they were two mothers. In your exhilarations you give everything.

परि॒ यो रोद॑सी उ॒भे स॒द्यो वाजे॑भि॒रर्ष॑ति ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

जो दोनों लोकों के चारों ओर तत्काल बल और अन्न के साथ बहता है — तू मद के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।

You are the one who at once flows around both world-halves with prizes. In your exhilarations you give everything.

स शु॒ष्मी क॒लशे॒ष्वा पु॑ना॒नो अ॑चिक्रदत् ।मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि

वह बलवान सोम शुद्ध किया जाता हुआ कलशों में गरज उठा। तू मद के अवसरों पर सब कुछ देने वाला है।
