इन्द्र:

क॒दा भु॑व॒न्रथ॑क्षयाणि॒ ब्रह्म॑ क॒दा स्तो॒त्रे स॑हस्रपो॒ष्यं॑ दाः ।क॒दा स्तोमं॑ वासयोऽस्य रा॒या क॒दा धियः॑ करसि॒ वाज॑रत्नाः

कब मेरी स्तुतियाँ रथ और निवास देने वाली होंगी? कब तू स्तोता को हज़ारों का पोषण करने वाला धन देगा? कब इसके स्तोत्र को धन से ढकेगा, कब हमारी प्रार्थनाओं को बल-रूपी रत्न से भरी बनाएगा?

When will our sacred formulations bring you to stand in your chariot? When will you give the praiser nourishment for a thousand? When will you clothe this man's praise song in wealth? When will you make our poetic visions bring prizes as their treasure?

कर्हि॑ स्वि॒त्तदि॑न्द्र॒ यन्नृभि॒र्नॄन्वी॒रैर्वी॒रान्नी॒ळया॑से॒ जया॒जीन् ।त्रि॒धातु॒ गा अधि॑ जयासि॒ गोष्विन्द्र॑ द्यु॒म्नं स्व॑र्वद्धेह्य॒स्मे

हे इन्द्र, वह समय कब होगा जब तू हमारे पुरुषों से शत्रु-पुरुषों को और हमारे वीरों से शत्रु-वीरों को दबा देगा और युद्ध जीतेगा? गौओं के बीच तीन प्रकार का गो-धन जीत ले, हे इन्द्र, और हमें सूर्य जैसा तेज दे।

When will it happen, Indra, that you set men against men and heroes against heroes, and win the contests? When will you win for us the threefold wealth, cows upon cows? Indra, give us brilliance that brings the sun.

कर्हि॑ स्वि॒त्तदि॑न्द्र॒ यज्ज॑रि॒त्रे वि॒श्वप्सु॒ ब्रह्म॑ कृ॒णवः॑ शविष्ठ ।क॒दा धियो॒ न नि॒युतो॑ युवासे क॒दा गोम॑घा॒ हव॑नानि गच्छाः

हे अत्यन्त बलवान् इन्द्र, वह कब होगा जब तू स्तोता के लिए सब रूपों वाली समृद्ध स्तुति सफल करेगा? कब तू हमारी प्रार्थनाओं को अपने नियुत् घोड़ों की तरह जोड़ेगा, कब गो-दान वाले हमारे आह्वानों पर आएगा?

When will it happen, Indra, most mighty one, that you make the singer's sacred formulation all-nourishing? When will you yoke our poetic visions like teams of horses? When will you come to our invocations, which are rich in cows?

स गोम॑घा जरि॒त्रे अश्व॑श्चन्द्रा॒ वाज॑श्रवसो॒ अधि॑ धेहि॒ पृक्षः॑ ।पी॒पि॒हीषः॑ सु॒दुघा॑मिन्द्र धे॒नुं भ॒रद्वा॑जेषु सु॒रुचो॑ रुरुच्याः

हे इन्द्र, स्तोता को गौओं से भरे, घोड़ों से चमकते और बल की कीर्ति वाले भोग्य पदार्थ दे। अन्न को बढ़ा, सरलता से दूध देने वाली गाय दे, और भरद्वाजों के बीच सुन्दर दीप्ति से चमक।

Give the singer nourishing gifts that bring bounties of cows, that glitter with horses and are famed for their prizes. Indra, make the refreshments swell like a cow that milks well, and make them shine brightly among the Bharadvajas.

तमा नू॒नं वृ॒जन॑म॒न्यथा॑ चि॒च्छूरो॒ यच्छ॑क्र॒ वि दुरो॑ गृणी॒षे ।मा निर॑रं शुक्र॒दुघ॑स्य धे॒नोरा॑ङ्गिर॒सान्ब्रह्म॑णा विप्र जिन्व

हे शक्र, तू शूर और (धन के) द्वार खोलने वाला कहकर स्तुति किया जाता है — अब इस हमारे संघ को किसी विशेष ही रीति से अपनी ओर ले आ। उज्ज्वल दूध देने वाली गाय से मैं वंचित न रहूँ; हे विप्र, अपने ब्रह्म से आङ्गिरसों को बल दे।

Now turn our community another way, able one, for as a champion you are praised for opening the doors wide. Let me not be cut off from the cow that yields bright milk. Inspired one, quicken the Angirases with the sacred formulation.
