इन्द्राबृहस्पती

इ॒दं वा॑मा॒स्ये॑ ह॒विः प्रि॒यमि॑न्द्राबृहस्पती ।उ॒क्थं मद॑श्च शस्यते

हे इन्द्र और बृहस्पति, यह प्रिय हवि तुम दोनों के मुँह में (अर्पित) है; तुम्हारे लिए स्तोत्र और आनन्ददायक स्तुति कही जा रही है।

Indra and Brihaspati, this pleasing offering is placed in your mouth. The hymn is recited, and the intoxicating drink is offered.

अ॒यं वां॒ परि॑ षिच्यते॒ सोम॑ इन्द्राबृहस्पती ।चारु॒र्मदा॑य पी॒तये॑

हे इन्द्र और बृहस्पति, तुम दोनों के लिए यह सुन्दर सोम चारों ओर छाना जा रहा है — मद (हर्ष) के लिए, पीने के लिए।

Indra and Brihaspati, this lovely soma is being poured out for you, for your intoxication and your drinking.

आ न॑ इन्द्राबृहस्पती गृ॒हमिन्द्र॑श्च गच्छतम् ।सो॒म॒पा सोम॑पीतये

हे इन्द्र और बृहस्पति, तुम दोनों हमारे घर आओ — इन्द्र भी आएँ; तुम सोम पीनेवाले हो, सोम पीने के लिए आओ।

Indra and Brihaspati, come to our house, and Indra too, you soma-drinkers, to drink the soma.

अ॒स्मे इ॑न्द्राबृहस्पती र॒यिं ध॑त्तं शत॒ग्विन॑म् ।अश्वा॑वन्तं सह॒स्रिण॑म्

हे इन्द्र और बृहस्पति, हमें सौ गुना धन दो — घोड़ोंवाला और हज़ार गुना।

Indra and Brihaspati, give us wealth in hundreds of cattle, with horses, in thousands.

इन्द्रा॒बृह॒स्पती॑ व॒यं सु॒ते गी॒र्भिर्ह॑वामहे ।अ॒स्य सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑

हे इन्द्र और बृहस्पति, सोम के निचोड़े जाने पर हम स्तुतियों से तुम दोनों को बुलाते हैं — इस सोम को पीने के लिए।

Indra and Brihaspati, now that the soma is pressed, we call you with our songs to drink this soma.

सोम॑मिन्द्राबृहस्पती॒ पिब॑तं दा॒शुषो॑ गृ॒हे ।मा॒दये॑थां॒ तदो॑कसा

हे इन्द्र और बृहस्पति, हवि देनेवाले के घर में सोम पीओ; वहीं निवास करते हुए तुम दोनों आनन्द लो।

Indra and Brihaspati, drink the soma in the house of the one who worships you. Take your pleasure there and make it your home.
