विश्वेदेवाः

इ॒मा नु कं॒ भुव॑ना सीषधा॒मेन्द्र॑श्च॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः

अब हम इन लोकों को सफल और समृद्ध करें — हमारे साथ इन्द्र और सब विश्वेदेव भी।

Now let us bring these worlds to success, we together with Indra and all the gods.

य॒ज्ञं च॑ नस्त॒न्वं॑ च प्र॒जां चा॑दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॑ स॒ह ची॑कॢपाति

आदित्यों के साथ इन्द्र हमारे यज्ञ को, हमारे शरीर को और हमारी सन्तान को ठीक-ठीक सँवारे।

May Indra, together with the Adityas, set in order for us our yajna, our bodies, and our offspring.

आ॒दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भि॑र॒स्माकं॑ भूत्ववि॒ता त॒नूना॑म्

आदित्यों के साथ और मरुतों के गण से घिरा हुआ इन्द्र हमारे शरीरों का रक्षक हो।

With the Adityas and the Maruts, may Indra and his troop protect our bodies.

ह॒त्वाय॑ दे॒वा असु॑रा॒न्यदाय॑न्दे॒वा दे॑व॒त्वम॑भि॒रक्ष॑माणाः

जब देव असुरों को मारकर आगे बढ़े, तब वे अपने देवत्व की रक्षा करते हुए चले।

When the gods had killed the Asuras and came back, guarding their status as gods,

प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म॒र्कम॑नय॒ञ्छची॑भि॒रादित्स्व॒धामि॑षि॒रां पर्य॑पश्यन्

उन्होंने अपनी शक्तियों से अर्क (सूर्य अथवा स्तोत्र) को सामने की ओर ले आया; तभी उन्होंने चारों ओर प्रबल स्वधा को देखा।

they brought the sun (or: the chant) back toward them by their powers, and then they saw the vigorous svadhā all around.
