निरृति से बन्धन-मुक्तिRelease from Nirṛti's bonds

यस्यास् त आसनि घोरे जुहोम्य् एषां बद्धानाम् अवसर्जनाय कम् ।भूमिर् इति त्वाभिप्रमन्वते जना निरृतिर् इति त्वाहं परि वेद सर्वतः

जिसके भयानक मुख में मैं इन बँधे हुओं की मुक्ति के लिए आहुति देता हूँ — लोग तुम्हें 'भूमि' समझते हैं, पर मैं तुम्हें सब ओर से 'निरृति' जानता हूँ।

Into your dreadful mouth I pour the offering, so that these bound ones may be set free. People think of you as Bhumi, the Earth; I know you through and through as Nirṛti.

भूते हविष्मती भवैष ते भागो यो अस्मासु ।मुञ्चेमान् अमून् एनसः स्वाहा

हे भूति, हविवाली हो; यह तुम्हारा भाग है जो हममें है। इन्हें और उन्हें पाप से मुक्त करो, स्वाहा।

O Bhuti, be rich in oblation; this is your share, the one that is in us. Free these and those from sin. Svaha.

एवो ष्व् अ᳙स्मन् निरृते ऽनेहा त्वम् अयस्मयान् वि चृता बन्धपाशान् ।यमो मह्यं पुनर् इत् त्वां ददाति तस्मै यमाय नमो अस्तु मृत्यवे

हे निरृति, तुम दोषरहित होकर इसी प्रकार हमसे लोहे के बन्धन-पाश खोल दो। (अब बँधे हुए व्यक्ति से:) यम तुम्हें फिर मुझे लौटा देता है; उस यम को, मृत्यु को नमस्कार हो।

So, Nirṛti, free from malice, loosen from us the iron bonds and fetters. (To the bound man:) Yama gives you back to me again; homage to that Yama, to Death.

अयस्मये द्रुपदे बेधिष इहाभिहितो मृत्युभिर् ये सहस्रम् ।यमेन त्वं पित्ŕ̥भिः संविदान उत्तमं नाकम् अधि रोहयेमम्

तुम लोहे के खूँटे से बाँधे गए थे, यहाँ उन सहस्र मृत्युओं द्वारा जकड़े हुए। तुम यम और पितरों के साथ एकमत होकर इस व्यक्ति को सबसे ऊँचे स्वर्ग (नाक) पर चढ़ाओ।

You were fastened to an iron post, held here by the thousand deaths. In accord with Yama and the Fathers, raise this man to the highest vault of heaven.
