इन्द्र की स्तुतिPraise of Indra's deeds

त्वं हि स्तोमवर्धन इन्द्रास्य् उक्थवर्धनः ।स्तोतॄणाम् उत भद्रक्ŕ̥त्

हे इन्द्र, तुम ही स्तोत्रों को बढ़ाने वाले और उक्थों को बढ़ाने वाले हो, और स्तुति करने वालों का भला करने वाले हो।

Indra, you are the one who makes praise-songs grow and makes recitations grow, and you do good to those who praise you.

इन्द्रम् इत् केशिना हरी सोमपेयाय वक्षतः ।उप यज्ञं सुराधसम्

अयाल वाले दो हरि घोड़े उदार दानी इन्द्र को ही सोम पीने के लिए यज्ञ के पास ले आते हैं।

The two maned bay horses bring Indra himself, generous in gifts, to the yajna to drink the soma.

अपां फेनेन नमुचेः शिर इन्द्रोद् अवर्तयः ।विश्वा यद् अजय स्प्ŕ̥धः

हे इन्द्र, जब तुमने सब प्रतिद्वन्द्वियों को जीता, तब तुमने जल के फेन से नमुचि का सिर मरोड़कर अलग कर दिया।

Indra, with the foam of the waters you twisted off Namuci's head, when you conquered all your rivals.

मायाभिर् उत्सिसृप्सत इन्द्र द्याम् आरुरुक्षतः ।अव दस्यूꣳर् अधूनुथाः

हे इन्द्र, जो दस्यु अपनी मायाओं से ऊपर रेंगकर द्युलोक पर चढ़ना चाहते थे, उन्हें तुमने झटककर नीचे गिरा दिया।

Indra, you shook down the Dasyus who were trying, by their magic powers, to creep upward and climb to heaven.

असुन्वाम् इन्द्र संसदं विषूचीं व्य् अ᳙नाशयः ।सोमपा उत्तरो भवन्

हे इन्द्र, सोम का सबसे श्रेष्ठ पान करने वाले बनकर तुमने सोम न निचोड़ने वालों की सभा को चारों ओर बिखेरकर नष्ट कर दिया।

Indra, you scattered in all directions and destroyed the gathering of those who press no soma, proving yourself the superior soma-drinker.
