अग्निः

संस॒मिद्यु॑वसे वृष॒न्नग्ने॒ विश्वा॑न्य॒र्य आ ।इ॒ळस्प॒दे समि॑ध्यसे॒ स नो॒ वसू॒न्या भ॑र

हे वृषभ अग्नि, तू सब वस्तुओं को एक साथ जोड़ता है, स्वामी (यजमान) की सारी सम्पत्ति को समेटता है। तू इळा के स्थान (वेदी) पर प्रज्वलित होता है — वही तू हमारे लिए धन ले आ।

You gather together all things that belong to the stranger, bull Agni. You are kindled in the place of Ila; bring us good things.

सं ग॑च्छध्वं॒ सं व॑दध्वं॒ सं वो॒ मनां॑सि जानताम् ।दे॒वा भा॒गं यथा॒ पूर्वे॑ संजाना॒ना उ॒पास॑ते

साथ चलो, साथ बोलो, तुम्हारे मन एक जैसे सोचें। जैसे प्राचीन देव एकमत होकर अपने हविर्भाग के पास बैठते हैं, वैसे ही (तुम भी एक हो)।

Come together, speak together, let your minds agree, just as the gods of old, in agreement, sit by and attend to their share.

स॒मा॒नो मन्त्रः॒ समि॑तिः समा॒नी स॑मा॒नं मनः॑ स॒ह चि॒त्तमे॑षाम् ।स॒मा॒नं मन्त्र॑म॒भि म॑न्त्रये वः समा॒नेन॑ वो ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि

मन्त्र एक हो, सभा एक हो, मन एक हो और इनका चित्त भी साथ-साथ हो। मैं तुम्हारे लिए एक ही मन्त्र बोलता हूँ और एक ही हवि से तुम्हारे लिए आहुति देता हूँ।

Their counsel is common, their assembly common, their mind common, their thought joined together. I address a common counsel to you; I make the offering for you with a common oblation.

स॒मा॒नी व॒ आकू॑तिः समा॒ना हृद॑यानि वः ।स॒मा॒नम॑स्तु वो॒ मनो॒ यथा॑ वः॒ सुस॒हास॑ति

तुम्हारा संकल्प एक हो, तुम्हारे हृदय एक हो, तुम्हारा मन एक हो, जिससे तुम्हारा मेल अच्छा बना रहे।

Let your intention be common, your hearts common; let your mind be common, so that you may live well together.
