विश्वेदेवाः

प्रथ॑श्च॒ यस्य॑ स॒प्रथ॑श्च॒ नामानु॑ष्टुभस्य ह॒विषो॑ ह॒विर्यत् ।धा॒तुर्द्युता॑नात्सवि॒तुश्च॒ विष्णो॑ रथंत॒रमा ज॑भारा॒ वसि॑ष्ठः

जिसका नाम 'प्रथस्' और 'सप्रथस्' है, और जो अनुष्टुभ् हवि की हवि है — उस रथन्तर (साम) को वसिष्ठ ने धातृ, सवितृ और विष्णु के द्युतिमान तेज से प्राप्त किया।

The chant whose names are Prathas and Saprathas, the oblation of the anushtubh oblation: Vasishtha brought that Rathantara here from Dhatar, from shining Savitar, and from Vishnu.

अवि॑न्द॒न्ते अति॑हितं॒ यदासी॑द्य॒ज्ञस्य॒ धाम॑ पर॒मं गुहा॒ यत् ।धा॒तुर्द्युता॑नात्सवि॒तुश्च॒ विष्णो॑र्भ॒रद्वा॑जो बृ॒हदा च॑क्रे अ॒ग्नेः

जो दूर रखा हुआ, गुहा में छिपा यज्ञ का परम धाम था, उसे उन्होंने पा लिया; और धातृ, सवितृ तथा विष्णु के द्युतिमान तेज से भरद्वाज ने अग्नि से बृहत् (साम) को प्राप्त किया।

They found what had been put away out of sight, the highest domain of the sacrifice, which was hidden. From Dhatar, from shining Savitar, and from Vishnu, Bharadvaja brought the Brihat here, from Agni.

तेऽ॑विन्द॒न्मन॑सा॒ दीध्या॑ना॒ यजुः॑ ष्क॒न्नं प्र॑थ॒मं दे॑व॒यान॑म् ।धा॒तुर्द्युता॑नात्सवि॒तुश्च॒ विष्णो॒रा सूर्या॑दभरन्घ॒र्ममे॒ते

मन से ध्यान करते हुए उन्होंने उस पहले, देवों तक पहुँचाने वाले, बिखरे हुए यजुस् को पा लिया; और धातृ, सवितृ तथा विष्णु के द्युतिमान तेज से इन्होंने सूर्य से घर्म को प्राप्त किया।

Meditating in their minds, they found the yajus that had leapt down, the first, the one that leads to the gods. From Dhatar, from shining Savitar, and from Vishnu, and from Surya, these brought the gharma here.
