यज्ञ का समापन और देवों की विदाईClosing the sacrifice, sending off the gods

यद् अद्य त्वा प्रयति यज्ञे अस्मिन् होतश् चिकित्वन्न् अवृणीमहीह ।ध्रुवम् अयो ध्रुवम् उता शविष्ठैप्रविद्वान् यज्ञम् उप याहि सोमम्

हे जानकार होता, आज इस चलते हुए यज्ञ में हमने तुम्हें यहाँ चुना है। तुमने दृढ़ता से यज्ञ किया है और दृढ़ता से परिश्रम किया है; अब सब जानते हुए यज्ञ में, सोम के पास आओ।

Knowing hotar, since we chose you here today for this sacrifice now under way, you have sacrificed steadily and laboured steadily. Now come, fully aware, to the sacrifice and to the soma.

सम् इन्द्र नो मनसा नेष गोभिः सं सूरिभिर् हरिवन्त् सं स्वस्त्या ।सं ब्रह्मणा देवहितं यद् अस्ति सं देवानां सुमतौ यज्ञियानाम्

हे इन्द्र, हमें मन के साथ, गायों के साथ जोड़ो। हे हरि-घोड़ों वाले, हमें यज्ञ करानेवाले दाताओं के साथ और कल्याण के साथ जोड़ो। जो ब्रह्म (पवित्र वाणी) देवों का रखा हुआ है उसके साथ, और यज्ञ के योग्य देवों की कृपा में हमें ले चलो।

Indra, lord of the bay horses, bring us together with good thought and with cattle, with our patrons, and with well-being. Bring us together with the sacred formula that the gods have set in place, and into the favour of the gods who deserve worship.

यान् आवह उशतो देव देवांस् तान् प्रेरय स्वे अग्ने सधस्थे ।जक्षिवांसः पपिवांसो मधून्य् अस्मै धत्त वसवो वसूनि

हे अग्नि देव, जिन इच्छुक देवों को तुम यहाँ लाए थे, उन्हें उनके अपने निवास की ओर भेज दो। हे वसुओ, तुमने खा लिया और मधुर पेय पी लिए हैं; अब इस यजमान को धन दो।

God Agni, send the eager gods you brought here back to their own seat. Vasus, now that you have eaten and drunk the sweet drinks, give wealth to this man.

सुगा वो देवाः सदना अकर्म य आजग्म सवने मा जुषाणाः ।वहमाना भरमाणाः स्वा वसूनि वसुं घर्मं दिवम् आ रोहतानु

हे देवो, जो तुम मेरे सोम-सवन में प्रसन्न होकर आए, हमने तुम्हारे लिए सुगम आसन बनाए हैं। अपना-अपना धन ढोते और लेकर चलते हुए, उत्तम घर्म (तप्त दूध की आहुति) के पीछे-पीछे आकाश पर चढ़ जाओ।

Gods, who came to my soma-pressing and enjoyed it, we have made your seats easy to reach. Carrying and bearing your own goods, follow the good gharma (the hot-milk offering) and climb to heaven.

यज्ञ यज्ञं गछ यज्ञपतिं गछ ।स्वां योनिं गछ स्वाहा

हे यज्ञ, यज्ञ के पास जाओ, यज्ञपति के पास जाओ, अपने मूल स्थान को जाओ। स्वाहा।

Sacrifice, go to the sacrifice, go to the lord of the sacrifice, go to your own source. Svaha.

एष ते यज्ञो यज्ञपते सहसूक्तवाकः ।सुवीर्यः स्वाहा

हे यज्ञपति, सूक्तों और यज्ञ-वचनों सहित यह तुम्हारा यज्ञ है, जो उत्तम वीरों से युक्त है। स्वाहा।

Lord of the sacrifice, this is your sacrifice, with its hymns and recited words, rich in heroes. Svaha.

वषड् धुतेभ्यो वषड् अहुतेभ्यः ।देवा गातुविदो गातुं वित्त्वा गातुम् इत

जिन्हें आहुति मिली उनके लिए वषट्, जिन्हें आहुति नहीं मिली उनके लिए वषट्। हे मार्ग जाननेवाले देवो, मार्ग पाकर अपने मार्ग पर जाओ।

Vashat to those who have received offerings, vashat to those who have not. Gods who know the way, find the way and go on your way.

मनसस् पत इमं नो दिवि देवेषु यज्ञम् ।स्वाहा दिवि स्वाहा पृथिव्यां स्वाहान्तरिक्षे स्वाहा वाते धां स्वाहा

हे मन के स्वामी, हमारे इस यज्ञ को आकाश में देवों के बीच रखो। आकाश में स्वाहा, पृथ्वी पर स्वाहा, अन्तरिक्ष में स्वाहा, वायु में मैं इसे रखता हूँ, स्वाहा।

Lord of the mind, set this sacrifice of ours in heaven among the gods. Svaha in heaven, svaha on earth, svaha in the midspace; I place it in the wind, svaha.
