शत्रुओं को निहत्था करनाRendering enemies handless

निर्हस्तः शत्रुर् अभिदासन्न् अस्तु ये सेनाभिर् युधम् आयन्त्य् अस्मान् ।सम् अर्पयेन्द्र महता वधेन द्रात्व् एषाम् अघहारो विविद्धः

जो शत्रु हम पर आक्रमण करता है और जो सेनाओं के साथ हमसे युद्ध करने आते हैं, वे बिना हाथ के हो जाएँ। हे इन्द्र, उन्हें बड़े प्रहार से मार गिराओ; इनका 'अघहार' (अनिष्ट करने वाला) बिंधकर भाग जाए।

Let the enemy who attacks us be handless, and those who come against us with armies to fight. Indra, strike them down with a great blow; let their aghahāra, the bringer of harm, run off pierced through.

आतन्वाना आयछन्तो ऽस्यन्तो ये च धावथ ।निर्हस्ताः शत्रवः स्थनेन्द्रो वो ऽद्य पराशरीत्

धनुष तानते, निशाना साधते और बाण चलाते हुए जो तुम दौड़ते आ रहे हो, हे शत्रुओ, तुम बिना हाथ के हो जाओ; इन्द्र ने आज तुम्हें कुचलकर दूर कर दिया है।

You who come running, drawing your bows, taking aim and shooting: enemies, be handless. Indra has crushed you away today.

निर्हस्ताः सन्तु शत्रवो ऽङ्गैषां म्लापयामसि ।अथैषाम् इन्द्र वेदांसि शतशो वि भजामहै

शत्रु बिना हाथ के हो जाएँ; हम इनके अंगों को शिथिल कर देते हैं। फिर, हे इन्द्र, हम इनकी सम्पत्ति को सैकड़ों भागों में बाँट लें।

Let the enemies be handless; we make their limbs go limp. Then, Indra, let us share out their possessions by the hundreds.
