तीनों सवनों में रक्षा की प्रार्थनाProtection at the three soma pressings

अग्निः प्रातःसवने पात्व् अस्मान् वैश्वानरो विश्वक्ŕ̥द् विश्वशंभूः ।स नः पावको द्रविणे दधात्व् आयुष्मन्तः सहभक्षाः स्याम

प्रातःसवन में अग्नि वैश्वानर हमारी रक्षा करें, जो सब कुछ बनाने वाले और सबका कल्याण करने वाले हैं। वे पवित्र करने वाले अग्नि हमें धन में स्थापित करें; हम दीर्घायु हों और साथ मिलकर भोग करने वाले बनें।

May Agni Vaishvanara, maker of all and helper of all, protect us at the morning pressing. May the purifying one set us in wealth; may we live long and share our food and drink together.

विश्वे देवा मरुत इन्द्रो अस्मान् अस्मिन् द्वितीये सवने न जह्युः ।आयुष्मन्तः प्रियम् एषां वदन्तो वयं देवानां सुमतौ स्याम

विश्वेदेव, मरुत् और इन्द्र इस दूसरे सवन में हमें न छोड़ें। हम दीर्घायु होकर इनके लिए प्रिय वचन बोलते हुए देवताओं की कृपा में बने रहें।

May the All-Gods, the Maruts and Indra not abandon us at this second pressing. Living long and speaking what is pleasing to them, may we stay in the gods' favour.

इदं तृतीयं सवनं कवीनाम् ऋतेन ये चमसम् ऐरयन्त ।ते सौधन्वनाः स्व᳙र् आनशानाः स्वि᳙ष्टिं नो अभि वस्यो नयन्तु

यह तीसरा सवन उन कवियों का है जिन्होंने ऋत के द्वारा चमस (सोम-पात्र) को आगे बढ़ाया। सुधन्वा के वे पुत्र (ऋभु), जिन्होंने स्वर् प्राप्त किया है, हमारे सुयज्ञ को श्रेष्ठतर की ओर ले जाएँ।

This third pressing belongs to the poets who, by rta, set the cup in motion. May those sons of Sudhanvan, who have reached the heavenly light, lead our well-performed sacrifice toward something better.
