इन्द्र की स्तुतिPraise of Indra

उद् उ त्ये मधु मत्तमा गिर स्तोमास ईरते ।सत्राजितो धनसा अक्षितोतयो वाजयन्तो रथा इव

ये अत्यन्त मधुर वाणियाँ और स्तोत्र ऊपर उठ रहे हैं। ये एक साथ सब जीतने वाले, धन दिलाने वाले और कभी न घटने वाली सहायता देने वाले हैं, जैसे इनाम जीतने को दौड़ते रथ।

These sweetest songs and hymns of praise are rising up, winning everything at once, gaining wealth, bringing help that never fails, like chariots racing for the prize.

कण्वा इव भ्ŕ̥गवः सूर्य इव विश्वम् इद् धीतम् आनशुः ।इन्द्रं स्तोमेभिर् महयन्त आयवः प्रियमेधासो अस्वरन्

कण्वों की तरह, भृगुओं की तरह और सूर्य की तरह, उन्होंने जो कुछ सोचा था वह सब पा लिया। स्तोत्रों से इन्द्र की महिमा बढ़ाते हुए आयु लोगों और प्रियमेधों ने उसका गान किया।

Like the Kanvas, like the Bhrigus, like the sun, they have attained everything they set their minds on. Exalting Indra with hymns, the Ayus and the Priyamedhas have sung out to him.

उद् इन् न्व् अ᳙स्य रिच्यते ऽंशो धनं न जिग्युसः ।य इन्द्रो हरिवान् न दभन्ति तं रिपो दक्षं दधाति सोमिनि

जिसके पक्ष में हरि घोड़ों वाले इन्द्र हैं, उसका भाग अब निश्चय ही सबसे बढ़कर होता है, जैसे विजेता का जीता हुआ धन। शत्रु उसे हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकते; इन्द्र सोम अर्पित करने वाले में बल और कौशल रखते हैं।

The share of the man who has Indra with his bay horses on his side now surely stands out, like a winner's prize. Enemies cannot harm him, and Indra puts strength and skill into the one who offers soma.

मन्त्रम् अखर्वं सुधितं सुपेशसं दधात यज्ञियेष्व् आ ।पूर्वीश् चन प्रसितयस् तरन्ति तं य इन्द्रे कर्मणा भुवत्

यज्ञ-योग्य देवताओं के लिए बड़ा, अच्छी तरह रचा हुआ और सुन्दर मन्त्र अर्पित करो। जो अपने यज्ञ-कर्म से इन्द्र के साथ होता है, बहुत-से बन्धन भी उसे पकड़ नहीं पाते।

Offer to those worthy of worship a hymn that is not small, well made and beautifully formed. Even many snares pass by the man who stands with Indra through his ritual work.
