इन्द्र से धन की याचनाAsking Indra for wealth

भिन्धि विश्वा अप द्विषः बाधो जही म्ŕ̥धः ।वसु स्पार्हं तद् आ भर

(हे इन्द्र,) सब द्वेष करने वालों को चीरकर दूर कर दो, बाधा डालने वालों और शत्रुओं को मार डालो। वह चाहने योग्य धन हमारे पास ले आओ।

(Indra,) split apart and drive off all who hate us; strike down the oppressors and the enemies. Bring us that desirable wealth.

यद् वीलाव् इन्द्र यत् स्थिरे यत् पर्शाने पराभृतम् ।वसु स्पार्हं तद् आ भर

हे इन्द्र, जो धन कठोर में, जो दृढ़ में, जो 'पर्शान' (चट्टान की दरार) में ले जाकर छिपाकर रखा गया है, वह चाहने योग्य धन हमारे पास ले आओ।

Indra, the wealth that has been carried off and hidden in what is hard, in what is firm, in the rocky cleft — bring us that desirable wealth.

यस्य ते विश्वमानुषो भूरेर् दत्तस्य वेदति ।वसु स्पार्हं तद् आ भर

तुम्हारे जिस भरपूर दान को सारी मानवजाति जानती है, वह चाहने योग्य धन हमारे पास ले आओ।

The abundant gift of yours that all humankind knows of — bring us that desirable wealth.
