जल से कल्याण की प्रार्थनाPrayer to the waters for well-being

शं नो देवीर् अभिष्टय आपो भवन्तु पीतये ।शं योर् अभि स्रवन्तु नः

दिव्य जल हमारी सहायता और पीने के लिए कल्याणकारी हों। वे हमारे ऊपर सुख और कुशल बहाएँ।

May the divine Waters be a blessing to us, for our help and for drinking. May they flow over us with health and well-being.

अप्सु मे सोमो अब्रवीद् अन्तर् विश्वानि भेषजा ।अग्निं च विश्वशंभुवम्

सोम ने मुझसे कहा कि जल के भीतर सारी औषधियाँ हैं, और सबका कल्याण करने वाला अग्नि भी।

Soma told me that within the waters are all remedies, and Agni too, who brings blessing to all.

आपः पृणीत भेषजं वरूथं तन्वे᳙ मम ।ज्योक् च सूर्यं दृशे

हे जल, मेरे शरीर के लिए रक्षा-कवच के रूप में औषधि भर दो, ताकि मैं बहुत समय तक सूर्य को देखता रहूँ।

Waters, fill out a remedy as a shield for my body, so that I may see the sun for a long time.

शं न आपो धन्वन्याः᳙ शम् उ सन्त्व् अनूप्याः᳙ ।शं नः खनित्रिमा आपः शम् उ याः कुम्भ आभृताः ।शिवा नः सन्तु वार्षिकीः

मरुभूमि के जल हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, और दलदली भूमि के जल भी। खोदकर निकाले गए जल हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों, और जो घड़े में भरकर लाए गए हैं वे भी। वर्षा के जल हमारे लिए मंगलमय हों।

May the waters of the dry land be a blessing to us, and those of the marshland too. May the waters that are dug for be a blessing to us, and those brought in a pot. May the rain waters be kind to us.
