आशानाम् आशापालेभ्यश् चतुर्भ्यो अम्ŕ̥तेभ्यः ।इदं भूतस्याध्यक्षेभ्यो विधेम हविषा वयम्

दिशाओं के चार अमर रक्षकों को, जो जगत् के अधिष्ठाता हैं, हम यह हवि अर्पित करके पूजते हैं।

To the four immortal guardians of the quarters, the overseers of all that exists, we offer this worship with oblation.

य आशानाम् आशापालाश् चत्वार स्थन देवाः ।ते नो निरृत्याः पाशेभ्यो मुञ्चतांहसोअंहसः

हे देवो, तुम जो दिशाओं के चार रक्षक हो, हमें निर्ऋति के पाशों से और हर एक संकट से छुड़ाओ।

You gods who are the four guardians of the quarters, free us from the fetters of Nirriti and from every distress.

अस्रामस् त्वा हविषा यजाम्य् अश्लोणस् त्वा घृतेन जुहोमि ।य आशानाम् आशापालस् तुरीयो देवः स नः सुभूतम् एह वक्षत्

बिना लंगड़ाए मैं हवि से तुम्हारी पूजा करता हूँ, बिना लड़खड़ाए मैं तुम्हें घी की आहुति देता हूँ। दिशाओं का जो चौथा रक्षक देव है, वह हमारे लिए यहाँ कल्याण लाए।

Without limping I worship you with oblation; without stumbling I offer you ghee. May the god who is the fourth guardian of the quarters bring us well-being here.

स्वस्ति मात्र उत पित्रे नो अस्तु स्वस्ति गोभ्यो जगते पुरुषेभ्यः ।विश्वम् सुभूतम् सुविदत्रं नो अस्तु ज्योग् एव दृशेम सूर्यम्

हमारी माता और पिता का कल्याण हो, गायों, सब चलने-फिरने वाले प्राणियों और मनुष्यों का कल्याण हो। हमारे लिए सब कुछ सुखद और फलदायी हो; हम बहुत समय तक सूर्य को देखते रहें।

May it go well with our mother and our father, well with the cows, with all that moves, and with people. May everything be prosperous and bountiful for us; may we see the sun for a long time.
