कुहू की स्तुतिPraise of Kuhu

कुहूं देवीं सुक्ŕ̥तं विद्मनापसम् अस्मिन् यज्ञे सुहवा जोहवीमि ।सा नो रयिं विश्ववारं नि यछाद् ददातु वीरम् शतदायम् उक्थ्य᳙म्

अच्छे कर्म करने वाली, अपने काम में निपुण देवी कुहू को, जिन्हें पुकारना सहज है, मैं इस यज्ञ में बार-बार पुकारता हूँ। वे हमें ऐसा धन दें जिसकी सब कामना करते हैं, और एक ऐसा वीर पुत्र दें जो सौ गुना दान दे और स्तुति के योग्य हो।

At this sacrifice I call again and again on the goddess Kuhu, who does good work and is skilled in her craft, and who is easy to call. May she grant us wealth that everyone desires, and give us a hero who gives a hundredfold and is worthy of praise.

कुहूर् देवानाम् अम्ŕ̥तस्य पत्नी हव्या नो अस्य हविषो जुषेत ।शृनोतु यज्ञम् उशती नो अद्य रायस् पोषं चिकितुषी दधातु

देवताओं की और अमृत की पत्नी, पुकारने योग्य कुहू हमारी इस आहुति को स्वीकार करें। आज वे चाहती हुई हमारे यज्ञ को सुनें, और ज्ञानवती होकर हमें धन की वृद्धि दें।

May Kuhu, wife of the gods and of immortality, who is worthy to be called on, accept this offering of ours. May she listen eagerly to our sacrifice today, and in her wisdom grant us growth of wealth.
