चितकबरे वृषभ का उदयThe rising of the dappled bull

आयं गौः प्ŕ̥श्निर् अक्रमीद् असदन् मातरम् पुरः ।पितरम् च प्रयन्त् स्वः᳙

यह चितकबरा वृषभ आगे बढ़ आया है; यह सामने माता के पास बैठ गया है, और पिता स्वः (प्रकाशमय लोक) की ओर जा रहा है।

This dappled bull has stepped forth; he has sat down before his mother, and goes on toward his father, the heavenly light.

अन्तश् चरति रोचना अस्य प्राणाद् अपानतः ।व्य् अ᳙ख्यन् महिषः स्वः᳙

उसकी दीप्ति उसके प्राण और अपान (साँस लेने और छोड़ने) के बीच भीतर विचरती है; उस महिष ने स्वः को प्रकाशित कर दिया है।

His radiance moves within, between his in-breath and his out-breath; the great buffalo has lit up the heavenly light.

त्रिंशद् धामा वि राजति वाक् पतङ्गो अशिश्रियत् ।प्रति वस्तोर् अहर् द्युभिः

वह तीस धामों पर दीप्त होकर राज करता है; पतंग (पक्षी) ने वाणी का आश्रय लिया है। प्रत्येक प्रभात, दिन-प्रतिदिन, किरणों के साथ।

He shines over thirty domains; the winged one has taken speech as its support — at every dawn, day after day, with its rays.
