बलास आदि रोगों की चिकित्साHealing balasa and abscesses

विद्रधस्य बलासस्य लोहितस्य वनस्पते ।विसल्पकस्यौषधे मोच् छिषः पिशितं चन

हे वनस्पति, हे औषधि! विद्रध (फोड़ा), बलास, लोहित और विसल्पक रोग का मांस का एक टुकड़ा भी बाकी न छोड़।

O tree, O herb, of the vidradha (abscess), the balasa, the lohita and the visalpaka (diseases), do not leave even a scrap of (their) flesh behind.

यौ ते बलास तिष्ठतः कक्षे मुष्काव् अपश्रितौ ।वेदाहं तस्य भेषजं चीपुद्रुर् अभिचक्षणम्

हे बलास, तेरी जो दो गाँठें काँख में टिकी हुई बैठी हैं, उनकी औषधि मैं जानता हूँ: चीपुद्रु उनका उपचार है।

Balasa, the two lumps of yours that sit lodged in the armpit: I know the remedy for them. Cipudru is the cure.

यो अङ्ग्यो यः कर्ण्यो यो अक्ष्योर् विसल्पकः ।वि वृहामो विसल्पकं विद्रधं हृदयामयम् ।परा तम् अज्ञातम् यक्ष्मम् अधराञ्चं सुवामसि

जो विसल्पक अंगों में, कानों में और आँखों में है, उस विसल्पक को, विद्रध (फोड़े) को और हृदय के रोग को हम उखाड़ फेंकते हैं। उस अज्ञात यक्ष्म (क्षय रोग) को हम दूर, नीचे की ओर भगा देते हैं।

The visalpaka in the limbs, in the ears, in the eyes: we tear out the visalpaka, the abscess, the ailment of the heart. That unknown yakshma (wasting disease) we drive away, downward.
