तद् वो गाय सुते सचा पुरुहूताय सत्वने ।शं यद् गवे न शाकिने

सोम निचोड़े जाने पर तुम सब मिलकर बहुतों द्वारा पुकारे गए उस वीर के लिए वह गीत गाओ, जो उस समर्थ के लिए वैसा ही सुखद हो जैसे गाय के लिए (चारा)।

When the soma is pressed, sing that song of yours together to the much-invoked warrior, a song that pleases the mighty one as (grass pleases) a cow.

न घा वसुर् नि यमते दानं वाजस्य गोमतः ।यत् सीम् उप श्रवद् गिरः

जब वह हमारी स्तुतियाँ सुनता है, तब वह उत्तम देव गौओं से भरे पुरस्कार का दान नहीं रोकता।

कुवित्सस्य प्र हि व्रजं गोमन्तं दस्युहा गमत् ।शचीभिर् अप नो वरत्

क्योंकि दस्युओं का नाश करने वाला कुवित्स के गौओं से भरे बाड़े तक जाएगा, और अपनी शक्तियों से उसे हमारे लिए खोल देगा।
