इन्द्र की स्तुतिPraise of Indra

स्तुहीन्द्रं व्यश्ववद् अनूर्मिं वाजिनं यमम् ।अर्यो गयं मंहमानं वि दाशुषे

व्यश्व की तरह इन्द्र की स्तुति करो, जो अडिग, वाजी (बल और विजय-धन वाला) और नियन्ता है, और जो दानी उपासक को अर्य (पराये) का घर-धन उदारता से बाँट देता है।

Praise Indra as Vyashva did: the unwavering one, the prize-winner, the controller, who generously hands over the stranger's household wealth to the worshipper.

एवा नूनम् उप स्तुहि वैयश्व दशमं नवम् ।सुविद्वांसं चर्क्ŕ̥त्यं चरणीनाम्

हे वैयश्व, अब इसी तरह उसकी दसवीं बार नई स्तुति करो, उस अत्यन्त ज्ञानी की जिसकी जन बार-बार प्रशंसा करते हैं।

So now, Vaiyashva, praise him anew for the tenth time: the all-knowing one whom the peoples celebrate again and again.

वेत्था हि निरृतीनां वज्रहस्त परिव्ŕ̥जम् ।अहरहः शुन्ध्युः परिपदाम् इव

हे वज्रहस्त, तुम निरृतियों (विपत्तियों) से बचकर निकलना जानते हो, जैसे दिन-प्रतिदिन शुन्ध्यु फन्दों से बचकर निकलता है।

For you know, mace-in-hand, how to steer clear of disasters, as the shundhyu steers clear of snares day after day.
