दीर्घायु के लिए सोने का ताबीज़Gold amulet for long life

यद् आबध्नन् दाक्षायणा हिरण्यं शतानीकाय सुमनस्यमानाः ।तत् ते बद्नाम्य् आयुषे वर्चसे बलाय दीर्घायुत्वाय शतशारदाय

जो सोना दाक्षायणों ने प्रसन्न मन से शतानीक को बाँधा था, वही मैं तुम्हें आयु, तेज, बल और सौ शरद् की लंबी आयु के लिए बाँधता हूँ।

The gold that the Dakshayanas, in kindly spirit, bound on Shatanika, I bind on you for life, for splendour, for strength, for a long life of a hundred autumns.

नैनं रक्षांसि न पिशाचाः सहन्ते देवानाम् ओजः प्रथमजम् ह्य् ए᳙तत् ।यो बिभर्ति दाक्षायणं हिरण्यं स जीवेषु कृणुते दीर्घम् आयुः

न राक्षस और न पिशाच इसे (पहनने वाले को) हरा पाते हैं, क्योंकि यह (सोना) देवों का पहले जन्मा ओज है। जो दाक्षायण सोना धारण करता है, वह जीवितों के बीच लंबी आयु पाता है।

Neither rakshases nor pishachas can overcome him, for this (gold) is the first-born might of the gods. Whoever wears the Dakshayana gold makes for himself a long life among the living.

अपां तेजो ज्योतिर् ओजो बलं च वनस्पतीनाम् उत वीर्या᳙णि ।इन्द्र इवेन्द्रियाण्य् अधि धारयामो अस्मिन् तद् दक्षमाणो बिभरद् धिरण्यम्

जल का तेज, ज्योति, ओज और बल, और वनस्पतियों की शक्तियाँ — इन्द्र की शक्तियों की तरह हम इन्हें इस व्यक्ति में स्थापित करते हैं; वह सामर्थ्यवान होकर यह सोना धारण करे।

The brilliance of the waters, their light, might and strength, and the powers of the forest trees, we set in this man as Indra's powers are set in Indra; let him, growing strong, wear this gold.

समानां मासाम् ऋतुभिष् ट्वा वयं संवत्सरस्य पयसा पिपर्मि ।इन्द्राग्नी विश्वे देवास् ते ऽनु मन्यन्ताम् अहृणीयमानाः

वर्षों और महीनों की ऋतुओं से, और संवत्सर के दूध से हम तुम्हें भरते (पुष्ट करते) हैं। इन्द्र और अग्नि तथा सब देव, बिना क्रोध किए, तुम्हें स्वीकृति दें।

With the seasons of the years and the months, with the milk of the year, we fill you full. May Indra and Agni and all the gods approve of you, without anger.
