अमूर् या यन्ति योषितो हिरा लोहितवाससः ।अभ्रातर इव जामयस् तिष्ठन्तु हतवर्चसः

वे जो लाल वस्त्र पहने स्त्रियाँ, नसें (हिरा), उधर जा रही हैं, वे बिना भाई की बहनों की तरह, अपना तेज खोकर रुक जाएँ।

Those women over there who go on their way, the veins in red garments, let them stand still with their vigour struck down, like sisters without brothers.

तिष्ठावरे तिष्ठ पर उत त्वं तिष्ठ मध्यमे ।कनिष्ठिका च तिष्ठति तिष्ठाद् इद् धमनिर् मही

हे निचली, रुक जा। हे ऊपरी, रुक जा। और तू भी रुक जा, हे बीच वाली। सबसे छोटी नस रुक रही है, बड़ी धमनी भी रुक जाए।

Stand still, lower one; stand still, upper one; and you too stand still, middle one. The smallest one is standing still; let the great vessel stand still as well.

शतस्य धमनीनां सहस्रस्य हिराणाम् ।अस्थुर् इन् मध्यमा इमाः साकम् अन्ता अरंसत

सौ धमनियों और हज़ार नसों में से ये बीच वाली रुक गई हैं, और छोर वाली भी साथ ही थम गई हैं।

Of the hundred vessels and the thousand veins, these middle ones have stopped, and the ends have come to rest together with them.

परि वः सिकतावती धनूर् बृहत्य् अ᳙क्रमीत् ।तिष्ठतेलयता सु कम्

(हे नसो!) एक बड़ा रेतीला बाँध (धनू) तुम्हें चारों ओर से घेर चुका है। रुक जाओ, भली-भाँति शान्त हो जाओ।

(O veins,) a great sandy bank has closed in around you. Stand still, and settle down quietly.
