सफ़ेद अगले पैरों वाला, एक ओर सफ़ेद अगले पैरों वाला और चारों ओर सफ़ेद अगले पैरों वाला पशु इन्द्र-वायु के लिए हैं; सफ़ेद छिद्रों वाला, एक ओर सफ़ेद छिद्रों वाला और चारों ओर सफ़ेद छिद्रों वाला पशु मित्र-वरुण के लिए; शुद्ध (सफ़ेद) पूँछ के बालों वाला, पूरी तरह शुद्ध पूँछ वाला और मणि जैसी पूँछ वाला पशु अश्विनों के लिए हैं। तीन चितकबरी बाँझ गायें विश्वेदेवों के लिए, तीन श्येन (बाज़) के रंग वाली परमेष्ठिन् के लिए, और माथे पर सफ़ेद चिह्न वाले काले, बिना सींग के पशु सोम-पूषन् के लिए हैं।
The one with white forelegs, the one with white forelegs on one side, and the one with white forelegs all round are for Indra and Vayu; the one with white openings, the one with white openings on one side, and the one with white openings all round are for Mitra and Varuna; the one with a pure (white) tail, the one wholly pure-tailed, and the one with a jewel-like tail are for the Ashvins. Three dappled barren cows are for the All-gods, three hawk-coloured ones for Parameshthin, and dark, hornless animals with a white blaze on the forehead for Soma and Pushan.
