ययोर् ओजसा स्कभिता रजांसि यौ वीर्यैर् वीरतमा शविष्ठा ।यौ पत्येते अप्रतीतौ सहोभिर् विष्णुम् अगन् वरुणं पूर्वहूतिः

जिन दोनों के बल से लोक थमे हुए हैं, जो अपने पराक्रम से सबसे वीर और सबसे बलवान हैं, जो अपनी शक्तियों से बिना किसी रुकावट के शासन करते हैं, उन विष्णु और वरुण तक पहला आवाहन पहुँच गया है।

By whose might the regions of space are propped apart, who are the most heroic and the strongest in their deeds of valour, who rule unopposed by their powers: to Vishnu and to Varuna the first invocation has gone.

यस्येदं प्रदिशि यद् विरोचते प्र चानति वि च चष्टे शचीभिः ।पुरा देवस्य धर्मणा सहोभिर् विष्णुम् अगन् वरुणं पूर्वहूतिः

जिसके निर्देश में यह सब है जो चमकता है, साँस लेता है और अपनी शक्तियों से चारों ओर देखता है; प्राचीन काल से उस देव के विधान और बल से, विष्णु और वरुण तक पहला आवाहन पहुँच गया है।

Under whose direction is all this that shines, that breathes and looks about by its powers; from of old, by the god's ordinance and with might, the first invocation has gone to Vishnu and to Varuna.
