शिंशपा से सौभाग्य-प्राप्तिGaining fortune from the śiṃśapā tree

भगेन मा शांशपेन साकम् इन्द्रेण मेदिना ।कृणोमि भगिनं माप द्रान्त्व् अरातयः

शिंशपा वृक्ष के भग (सौभाग्य) से और साथी इन्द्र के साथ मैं स्वयं को भाग्यवान बनाता हूँ। अराति (शत्रु) भाग जाएँ।

With the fortune of the śiṃśapā tree, and with Indra as my ally, I make myself fortunate. Let the hostile ones run away.

येन वृक्षाꣳ अभ्यभवो भगेन वर्चसा सह ।तेन मा भगिनं कृण्व् अप द्रान्त्व् अरातयः

(शिंशपा वृक्ष से:) जिस भग और तेज के साथ तुमने (अन्य) वृक्षों को पराजित किया, उसी से मुझे भाग्यवान बनाओ। अराति भाग जाएँ।

(To the śiṃśapā tree:) The fortune and splendour with which you overcame the other trees — with that make me fortunate. Let the hostile ones run away.

यो अन्धो यः पुनःसरो भगो वृक्षेष्व् आहितः ।तेन मा भगिनं कृण्व् अप द्रान्त्व् अरातयः

जो भग अन्ध (छिपा हुआ) है, जो बार-बार लौटने वाला है, जो वृक्षों में रखा हुआ है — उससे मुझे भाग्यवान बनाओ। अराति भाग जाएँ।

The fortune that is blind (hidden), that keeps coming back, that is set within the trees — with that make me fortunate. Let the hostile ones run away.
