इन्द्र की असीम महिमाIndra's boundless greatness

यद् द्याव इन्द्र ते शतं शतं भूमिर् उत स्युः ।न त्वा वज्रिन्त् सहस्रं सूर्या अनु न जातम् अष्ट रोदसी

हे इन्द्र, यदि तुम्हारे लिए सौ द्युलोक और सौ पृथ्वियाँ भी हों, तो भी हे वज्रधारी, हज़ार सूर्य भी तुम्हारी बराबरी नहीं कर सकते, और न ही द्यावा-पृथिवी जन्म लेते हुए तुम्हें समा सकीं।

Indra, even if there were a hundred heavens and a hundred earths for you, a thousand suns could not match you, thunderbolt-holder, nor could heaven and earth contain you at your birth.

आ पप्राथ महिना क्ŕ̥ष्ण्या वृषन् विश्वा शविष्ठ शवसा ।अस्माꣳ अव मघवन् गोमति व्रजे वज्रिम् चित्राभिर् ऊतिभिः

हे बलवान, हे सबसे शक्तिशाली, तुमने अपनी महिमा और अपने बल से सब कुछ भर दिया है। हे मघवन्, हे वज्रधारी, गायों से भरे बाड़े में अपनी अद्भुत सहायताओं से हमारी रक्षा करो।
