इन्द्रो राजा जगतश् चर्षणीनाम् अधि क्षमि विषुरूपं यद् अस्ति ।ततो ददाति दाशुषे वसूनि चोदद् राध उपस्तुतश् चिद् अर्वाक्

इन्द्र चलने-फिरने वाले जगत् का, मनुष्यों का, और धरती पर जो कुछ भी अनेक रूपों में है, उस सबका राजा है। उसी में से वह दान देने वाले को धन देता है; स्तुति किए जाने पर वह अपना दान हमारी ओर भेजे।

Indra is king of all that moves, of the peoples, and of whatever exists on earth in its many forms. From that he gives goods to the one who offers; when praised, may he send his bounty our way.
