सबसे बड़े और सबसे छोटे को नमस्कार; पहले जन्मे और बाद में जन्मे को, मध्यम और अपरिपक्व को, सबसे निचले और मूल (तल) में रहने वाले को, सोभ्य और प्रतिसर्य को, यम-लोक के और कुशल-क्षेम के, उपजाऊ खेतों के और खलिहानों के, श्लोकों के और अन्त (विश्राम-स्थान) के, वनों के और झाड़ियों के, ध्वनि और प्रतिध्वनि को नमस्कार। तेज़ सेना वाले और तेज़ रथ वाले को, शूर और (शत्रु को) भेदने वाले को, वर्म वाले और रथ-कवच वाले को, शिरस्त्राण वाले और कवच वाले को, प्रसिद्ध और प्रसिद्ध सेना वाले को नमस्कार।
Homage to the eldest and the youngest; to the first-born and the later-born, to the middle one and the immature one, to the lowest and the one at the base, to the one in sobha and the one in pratisara, to the one in Yama's realm and the one in safety, to the one in tilled fields and the one on threshing floors, to the one in verses and the one at the end, to the one in forests and the one in thickets, to sound and to echo. Homage to the one with swift armies and swift chariots, to the hero and the one who breaks (the enemy) apart, to the one with armour and the one with a chariot-guard, to the one with a helmet and the one with a breastplate, to the famed one and the one with a famed army.
