१इन्द्र॒मिद्धरी॑ वह॒तोऽप्र॑तिधृष्टशवस॒मृषी॑णां च स्तु॒तीरुप॑ य॒ज्ञं च॒ मानु॑षाणाम् ॥ उ॒प॒या॒मगृ॑हीतोऽ॒सीन्द्रा॑य त्वा षोड॒शिन॑ ए॒ष ते॒ योनि॒रिन्द्रा॑य त्वा षोड॒शिने᳚ ॥ इन्द्र॒मित्त्रयो॑विंशतिः
दोनों हरि घोड़े उस इन्द्र को, जिसके बल को कोई दबा नहीं सकता, ऋषियों की स्तुतियों और मनुष्यों के यज्ञ के पास ले आते हैं। (अब सोम-ग्रह से:) तुम उपयाम पात्र से ग्रहण किए गए हो; षोडशी इन्द्र के लिए तुम्हें (लेता हूँ); यह तुम्हारा स्थान है; षोडशी इन्द्र के लिए तुम्हें (रखता हूँ)।
The two bay horses carry Indra, whose strength no one can withstand, to the praises of the seers and to the sacrifice of men. (To the Soma cup:) You are taken with the upayama vessel; (I take) you for Indra the Shodashin. This is your place; (I set) you (down) for Indra the Shodashin.
