१वा॒मम॒द्य स॑वितर्वा॒ममु॒ श्वो दि॒वेदि॑वे वा॒मम॒स्मभ्यं॑ सावीः ।वा॒मस्य॒ हि क्षय॑स्य देव॒ भूरे॑र॒या धि॒या वा॑म॒भाजः॑ स्याम ॥ उ॒प॒या॒मगृ॑हीतोऽसि दे॒वाय॑ त्वा सवि॒त्रे ॥ वा॒मं चतु॑र्विंशतिः
हे सविता, आज हमें उत्तम धन दो, कल भी उत्तम धन दो, प्रतिदिन हमारे लिए उत्तम धन भेजो; हे देव, उत्तम धन से भरे विशाल निवास के हम इस प्रार्थना से भागी बनें। (अब सोम-पात्र से:) तुम उपयाम (आधार) से लिए गए हो; तुम्हें सविता देव के लिए (लेता हूँ)।
