वेदमाता की स्तुति और वर-याचनाPraise of the Mother of the Vedas

स्तुता मया वरदा वेदमाता प्र चोदयन्तां पावमानी द्विजानाम् ।आयुः प्राणं प्रजां पशुं कीर्तिं द्रविणं ब्रह्मवर्चसम् ।मह्यं दत्त्वा व्रजत ब्रह्मलोकम्

वरदायिनी वेदमाता की मैंने स्तुति की है; पावमानी (पवित्र करने वाली ऋचाएँ) द्विजों को प्रेरित करें। मुझे आयु, प्राण, संतान, पशु, कीर्ति, धन और ब्रह्मतेज देकर (हे ऋचाओ) ब्रह्मलोक को जाओ।

I have praised the boon-giving Mother of the Vedas; may the (verses) that purify the twice-born urge (us) on. (All of you,) give me long life, breath, children, cattle, fame, wealth and the splendour of sacred knowledge (brahmavarcas), and then go to the world of brahman.
